it is you are right it is very expensive stuff it was on tv a few months a go....so iv only seen it advertised and I know no one that has used it...or sell it???

hi my morris minor is a 61..it has the metal insert in the front rubber...I took the old screen/rubber out..and bought a realy good windscreen..so I had new rubber,screen,and sealer..i cleaned the area doing any repairs so that it would be a easy fix..to putting it back...so I started at 11 oclock o...

i think they also call them them the felt door trim.which stops water comming in and the glass from rattling.....lol...

hi does any one know how to replace the weather strips on morris minor doors.its the 2 strips between the glass...does it need a door strip down...iv looked in the manual but can not find it ...thank you

Don't go anywhere near the brakes - why would you? And no need to knock the rear arm completely off the splines - just backwards enough to clear the 'cup' which is attached to the pin through the eyebolt. Then twist etc as above. May need new pins if the rubbers have worn through. Use polyurethane ...

hi im trying to replace my eye bolt rubbers....iv taken the front arm off now im stuck to what to do next??the eye bolt rubbers are shot..please can you help...i dont know how ..to replace.by taking the torsion bar out...some one must know lol thank you

hi i have bought a brand new nos su carb..bought it in the box ..and fitted it to a 1098 morris minor the needle is a an and the jet is a aud 9098 jet..iv set the mixture to 12 flats..and its too rich..from the front of the car im turning it anti clock wise.but its doing nothing..i dont know how man...

hi please can any one help ..iv been under my 1961 morris minor and the wishbone rubber bushes are falling apart..crumbling.so im wanting to change them..as well as the rest on the front end..can any one help please with information..............

as for the adjusters..the mot testing center had no answer.as one of them repairs morris minors.the adjusters will only work with shims/with super glue to stop em falling out....

well i took the car from sheffield to chesterfield to get a mot...a week ago the reading was 48% below minimum.to it was only 14% all round including hand brake so the green lights was on every test.rear,front and hand brake.so a pass.. a 60 mph up and down the by-pass did the trick..lol....must hav...

i know 7 inch brakes are poor.but they will keep me going..but they will not go to waist..as they are a perfect fit for my austin a35..so in going to look around for some larger back plates..and just swap over to a35.and that will have new drums of the morris..but we was having difficulty with a35 b...

again thank you as i orded both from and back drums,they arrived this morning and all looked the same 7 inch so i fitted them as they came out of the box...iv changed all the fluid..its great when i can get help thank you lol..i just was too clued up with front/rear drums.i thought they may be diffe...

iv taken all the brake components and dumped them.iv fitted new whell cylinders..again,new master cylinder,new front back brakes.the only thing that i have kept is the adjusters.so iv started from nearly new.the adjustment was still the same wheels dont lock up when fully adjusted by hand when turni...

brake pedal is also fine...last year i renewed all the wheel cylinders and master for test.when my helper aplys the brake pedal it locks the wheels.and when he removes is foot of the brake pedal the wheels spin fine but will not lock up to adjust

yes thir on the right way with the half cirular piece cut out on the cam adjuster..and the engine shop told me the drums are fine..the drums did not need skimming.i took them in for them to look at to see if they was oval.or worn out,i have renewed back brake shoes as oil was on them from axle.front...

they adjust up fine they only just touch the drums.i took the car for a drive for a mile or so brought it back and tried it agan..so iv bought another set of shoes and their the same

hi i have replaced all the brakes on the car,which are 7 inch,i have brought brand new shoes.iv fitted them and on the bake adjustment cams they will not lock the drums up.iv taken them to the engine servicing shop that does skimming of brake drums and disks,they said their fine,my brake cam adjuste...

i will ask my mate next time i see him as all his cars have diesel engines in.i know he fits them in morris minors,and old ford consuls,diesel mad.........

i know its some time sice i came on here but i bought some amtech engine restore off ebay.as my 1961 morris minor is still as it was bought in 1961 with its 948cc engine.on tick over the green oil light was on.and smoked abit on start up and the engine sounded lumpy..taking off the rocker box filler...
