What I did recently was. Firstly do what you did.ie release the front wishbone to front arm bolt and remove the front arm.
Then ensure the kingpin lower trunion is free. When you do ensure the remaining arm is supported on a jack as it is under tension from the torsion bar - (be careful they can slip off the jack !).
Then gently lower the arm until it is no longer under tension.I also removed the drum, wheel bearing and back plate - you can leave the shoes etc in place prior to this. You don't need to disconnect the brake hose.
Then I loosened the eye bolt from the engine side of the chassis,
After marking the position of the remaining arm on the torsion bar splines ( So you'll get the same ride height when you reassemble I knocked it back with a copper hammer until it was free of the splines.
You can now just gently prise the torsion bar away from the eye bolt by rotating the eye bolt, unscrew and remove - refurbish with new rubbers or poly bushes and pin.
Reassembly as they say is the reverse of the above.
Lots of Copperslip on the eye bolt where it goes through the chassis leg.
It's said to take 20 mins - I didn't find that!

Don't go anywhere near the brakes - why would you? And no need to knock the rear arm completely off the splines - just backwards enough to clear the 'cup' which is attached to the pin through the eyebolt. Then twist etc as above. May need new pins if the rubbers have worn through. Use polyurethane bushes, with a wipe of white grease and re-assemble.
