Hi Dean The ignition switch and wiring were all fine until I took the fuse out and then replaced it,I have not altered the wiring in any way . It was the second fuse down at the drivers side. I will have another look at the speedo cable and double check it has not loosened. Cheers Ed

I have just bought a Morris Minor 1000 and it runs fine only problem is I cannot get the engine to switch off with the ignition key. It was going fine until I was charging the battery whilst it was still in the car when I sure I heard the fuel pump clicking so I took fuse out to be on the safe side ...

Picked up car and made it home with no major problems. It cantered it,Over 500 miles and not a drop of oil or water required (For the car anyway!) I will post pic of car and details of my epic journey soon.

Hi I have just bought a Morris Minor (1957) and picking it up over the weekend, I have a 500 mile journey with it to get it home. Any common breakdown faults I may encounter I how would I rectify them? I do not have a tow bar or trailer so driving it back is the best option I have. I do have AA rela...
