'Hi -kit arrived today and fitted absolutely fine. My car had the remnants of the old strap screwed to the back seat with set screws into what looks liked a 'captive' threaded plate within the seat - so I just reused these to secure the strap. Thanks for the kit - as you say the ESM offering is in no way comparable to yours. ‘

As said above there is a captive plate and feel free to use the old screw / bolts. I have plugged mine with small dowels and used the black screws.

I am on the hunt for the proper screws which I am told are 10/24 UNF.

You very kindly sent one to me last week Jonathan and I can't praise them highly enough. The one you sent was actually better than the NOS one that I also have. Would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

Many thanks. I have sourced some 2 ba screws which fit the captive plate, I had assumed that they were self tappers as shown on the ESM version, so if you need these, drop me a pm and I will send a couple. I have even gone super-geek and painted the tops black....

I am just making the last of an additional 20 straps if anyone else wants one.
