Brand new kit, bought for a friends Morris Traveller (fitted with MGB engine) to replace a damaged front shock absorber.
The ones on his car are much bigger, more travel also, no numbers on them. Hence kit is for sale.
Any ideas on what the ones fitted could be, I can only think a Morris Ital?

Dimensions taken from a NOS Monroe Marina/Ital damper.
The Morris Marina/Ital front tele dampers is 10.5" between eye bolt centres when closed and 16.5" between eye bolt centres when fully extended.
The damper is 1 15/16" dia at the shroud and 1 3/4" at the main body.
The mounting bolts are 1/2" dia.
A photo of the installation set up would be helpful.
I also have a pair of the special Marina/Ital lower tele damper mounts which are very hard to find these days as tele dampers were only fitted to late models of the Marina/Ital. They are not suitable for the Minor as it places the damper ahead of the lower suspension arms. They are also used in conjunction with special Marina/Ital suspension (thin) arms which have additional strengthening webs.
The lower front tele damper mounts on my Minor are from a Marlin kit car which uses the Marina/Ital front suspension and the front upper tele damper mounts are Marina/Ital rear upper damper mounts. A good number of the front suspension parts on my Minor are derived from the Marina/Ital.
