1959 morris starting
So with the good weather getting back to taking morris out problem being ever since first bought it long time ago it's spluttery when setting off first couple Miles it never failed to start now it's 948 engine it has Manuel feul pump electronic ignition also but lately when starting taking bit longer and is pretty spluttery when giving throttle cutting out bit but not stopping don't think I've ever had carb cleaned or had rebuild would it be good idea to remove strip and clean or not thanks

Well, it won't do any harm to strip and clean the carb, but it might not be the culprit. Could be an ignition problem - electronic dizzy, even the coil!
First off, I would top up the carb damper oil and try it then.
