I noticed a little vibration from my van exhaust, and then noticed that both exhaust mounts have broken. On closer inspection both seem to be home made or botched mounts. I have found one original style mount (see photo) they seem to be out of stock in the normal places.
However, this mount is too small for my exhaust - the diameter is around 1 3/8” or 35mm, but my exhaust is closer to 1 1/2” or 40mm. I don’t think a saloon or traveller mount will work as they are “hanging” the exhaust on the flexible strap, the van ones seem to have to hold the exhaust up.
Does anyone have any idea of where to get suitable mounts or shall I start my own botch?
