803cc engine and gearbox good running condition
I'm looking to sell my 803cc engine and gearbox out of my 1956 series 2 for roughly £600 but offers accepted. The car supposedly has less then 14000 miles on the clock which is reflected throughout the condition of the car so may be correct. The engine runs very well and is called quiet by a lot of morris minor owners. i dont believe any of it has been restored although the head has been converted to run on unleaded fuel and a hs2 carb has been fitted. I haven't noticed very much oil leaking from the car and the underside is fairly clean but it does use oil especially when going over 30mph on the 5.4 diff. the gearbox feels like it is very new with minimal play in the gear stick and seemingly good condition synchros, none of the gears are particularly noisy or sound off. I have upgraded to electronic ignition which has given it a lot more power which I'm happy to leave with the engine for an extra £70. Located in Manchester, buyer to collect or organise courier. Can potentially take it for a test drive if I haven't changed the engine yet. Currently in daily use Any questions please ask
