Dear all,
Please can you tell me the maximum speeds of the Minors powered by the 918cc sidevalve engine and that of the 803cc engine and your info's source? (And if they're your vehicle are the speeds you have speedo read or GPS?) And also the revs at which the 948cc engine develops its 37HP?
The idea behind this request is that (together with other power & speeds) the figures might be graphed and lead onto an idea of the aerodynamic drag coefficient of the Minor. We're fortunate that all the Minors are of very similar form (excepting, of course, the Traveller) and also much the same weight, so with luck the various powers and speed might form a coherent and informative line.
Anyway, I'll give it a go, MikeN.

The tourer is lighter and not the same form at all with the top down!

Re: Power, speed and drag coefficient
I found this which mentions drag coefficient:
https://carspector.com/car/morris/043856/
Also Vizard’s book Tuning the A-Series Engine 3rd edition page 35 has a table of “vehicle index numbers” which states 0.343 for Morris Minor 1000.
