Removing regulator channel from the glass.
It's pretty good stuff that the factory used to adhere the window glass to the channel.Using a heat gun on the high setting will gradually soften the old adhesive substance, then carefully lever the glass out of the channel, by starting at either end. Reglue with Sikaflex, or similar. The door design with new either side of the glass rubbing strips, means that glass only goes through.

One of mine was easy to separate as the channel has rusted to bits! First thing I knew about it was that the glass just dropped into the door one day!
I would be very careful if using a heat gun in case it cracked the glass.......some kind of solvent might do the job?
