4 door restoration project

Post by OGY985K »

Hi Everyone,
I was a member of MMOC for many years ( OGY985K was my white convertible (owned 13 years), PCL782J was my first car, both still around)…but sinned in 2017-2022 spending 5 years restoring a Triumph to factory spec.
I’m now after a 4 door Morris, having realised just how much I miss trundling about in one.
Ideally:
4 door (definite requirement), not bodged about, happy doing welding etc (the Spit received new sills, floor, wings, B and A posts). I’d prefer a 1098. I have max £900 to spend on one. The seller can be assured that the car will be fully restored and to a very high standard, but with an alternator, headrest seats.
If anyone has a car, then please do get in touch.
I’m in Reading so transporting more than 100 or so miles is probably cost prohibitive (unless the car is cheaper!)
Thanks
Alan

Hi All,
I’m still looking for a car. The one I thought I’d found wasn’t worth restoring. Am now open to 2 or 4 door cars.
Thanks Alan

Good news. Well done on your purchase. The car looks to be in decent order. Hopefully you don't find too many nasty surprises.
