Crikey.......not at that price it won't be of interest to me!May be of interest:-

I'll admit, I've never seen anything like this before, so I presume it is quite rare. What's with the Australia reference? Was it specifically produced for 'down under'?

Re: Aussi rocker cover
I have seen this type of rocker cover before.
It does seem to be a common item fitted to Mini's down under.
There are several of this type for sale on various auction/for sale sites.
I will have a look in my copy of 'The anatomy of the classic Mini' and see if they have any details and if they have I will post those details on here.

If you look at the picture near the oil filler cap there is an outline map of Australia with MOWOG inside.
I am assuming this was made under licence in Australia?

Re: Aussi rocker cover
I'd certainly like to know more about it. I've never seen one before. It probably is rare in this country but I'd doubt it was worth that sort of money though.

Vendor must be on drugs. The gauze breather arrangement is probably to catch oil mist and return it to the engine as droplets rather than suck it out and burn it, as a warm dry climate would not be troubled by condensation.

Re: Aussi rocker cover
It appears that there are at least two Australia rocker covers with the top mounted oil separator.
One has the breather pipe exiting right and another exiting left.
Here is a link to the details of the rocker cover and the parts used in its fitment as part of the engine breathing system.
