Anyone know the difference between the DR2 and DR3A wiper motor drives?

As far as I know, they are very similar. Both types can have self-parking of the wipers. However, the gear wheel which determines the degrees of ark sweep is not interchangeable between DR2 and DR3a

I do know it's not just a case of two Models, the DR2 and the DR3, there were lots of different applications with different part numbers under those two model numbers.
I've no idea what the difference is between a 3 and a 3A...

See this link, it seems the DR2 was always single speed, while the DR3 was available Single or Twin Speed, but a lot of different angle of sweep, from 85 to 160 deg.
Look at pages 16 onwards....
