Ford N9 reversing light switch
Hi, years and years ago i had the ford 5 speed gearbox upgrade from the Birmingham Morris Minor centre in Birmingham. As i said this was a long time ago. At the time i made up a connector using some bullet connectors and some epoxy resin (milliput) it works but keeps dropping off (pot holed roads and speed bumps). Where can i get a proper connector from. Also apart from a ford sierra, what used this type of reversing switch?

Re: Ford N9 reversing light switch
I believe westfield the kit car people sell a type 9 plug on a tail of wire, thats assuming you have the two round pin type plug,
I think the same connector was used on MK2 escort, capri, cortina, sierra, granada, so might be worth looking on ebay for one being broken,
probably to old for ford to have available,
Steve

Ok, thanks for the info, looking at the Westfield website, a spade connector is used rather than a pin. Though it narrows the field so that i am looking at the older type reversing switch.
