Trafficator switch

Post by hammersmith »

Hi,
My Trafficator had been working up to week ago, but they started to fail. On taking the switch out from under the dash through the glove box, I discovered on taking it apart it was corroded. I have purchased a new one Imagefrom a MM supplier. On trying to connect it I had power from the live wire from the cars wiring. I used a bulb tester. Power was going to the left indicator but no power from the wire for the right indicator. Can any offer an advice please.

With your tester bulb, make sure you have the supply going to the terminal marked F, it is possible you have connected the supply to the L terminal, if so they just need swapping over.

Glad to be of assistance.
Thanks for letting us know the outcome, so many times a thread comes to a dead end.
