well this explaind mine then having 2 holes in the heater,sliding seats mine also had a alternator fitted,gauges and also had spotlights fitted to customers spec but has only got sliding seats,alternator fitted and 2 holes in heater still but i have invoice that it had the other stuff fitted from new

Yes, it certainly looks like a disabled persons car. Plain door and side trims, dip switch on heater and seats on slidey runners. the hand controls may have been removed, or poss never fitted depending on the req. of the original user.

Back to this thread after many months! Just got my heritage certificate - it says the destination / dealer for my car was M.O.H. - (Ministry of Health?) sales order 11279

Factory fitted kit included the extra sun visor, fresh air heater, fixed-seat belts and underseal (which didn't work BTW)

Hope that interests someone...

My mate had a 1960 disabled person's Minor. When he had it it had been fitted with a 1098 engine and box, retaining the 5.375:1 diff.
It would out-accelerated vitually anything off the line in 1st! However, it also experienced axle tramp when you changed up into 4th.
