Where on this floor will I find the chassis number stamped..theres nowt on the bulkhead?
The floor reminds me of 'Aliens' with the torsion bar sticking through the floor suddenly

The chassis number stamping changed position from the bulkhead to the floor around 1965. If your car is from 1965 onwards and very rusty or repaired there is a fair chance you'll no longer be able to read it

Yes its a 68 Peat traveller

You might be lucky..... The car in your picture does seem to have suffered some neglect!

What's the plan for this one Taupe ? A very brave restoration or just spares ? Looks like it's sat outside with water and leaves in it for some time.

I have in mind fitting a fibreglass rear end similar to below (but with a gutter) and no rear seats but probably original wooden rear doors. Some front end chassis rail repairs to do first though.
