Re: Show us your dog
Thank you. The photo was taken at Cuckmere Haven. Here’s another one.
Oh and loving all the dogs posted. When my car Xavier comes back from gearbox repairs I’ll post a picture of Kenzo in the car. I am having rear seat belts fitted so that my dog can ride safely on the back seat with his harness.

Re: Show us your dog
Monty is gorgeous but I don’t envy you with a long-hair! A lot of work there. Kenzo is my seventh GSD (he may be a Swiss Shepherd Dog) but he’s fairly short hair. Not quite so much grooming required. My previous was long hair and prone to tangles especially behind the ears.

Re: Show us your dog
Thankyou, yes he is a good looking boy and he knows it, Regards grooming, he never stops moulting and leaves fur everywhere, it's a bit like his calling card,
Kenzo is a handsome boy, I didn't realise there were Swiss shepherd dogs that look so much like GSD's,
my wife kept asking "what about a different breed" before we got Monty but for me once I'd had a shepherd I was hooked, so I can understand why you've had seven, I like all dogs but I'm a GSD fan for sure,
Steve

Re: Show us your dog
Do not be fooled by the picture of serenity I have already posted.
What lies beneath the shiny fur is far darker & sinister than anything you can imagine. We picked up Emma from a top breeder of Labradors, he'd already shown us the litter & we made our choice, the old wizened man rasped, "You can't go wrong with this little dog!" he said reassuringly, "She'll be no trouble at all, I'd say she's a pensive little pup!" Anyway we collected her a month later, the breeder seemed a little furtive, but as there was a storm raging & foul tempest blowing, he passed the pup through a crack in the door & shouted "Good luck!" & slammed it shut. I held her all the way back home.
On route we bought some pastries to have when we arrived. We finally arrived soaked & made a welcome cup & sat down at our coffee table to devour our pastries.
It was then the nightmare began.
Emma sat quietly watching with a beady eye on our snacks. It sent a shiver down my spine! I was just about to sink my teeth into mine when this furry ball left the ground & flew through the air with jaw wide open & literally snatched my pastry out of my mouth & ran under the sofa to devour it.
What was this monster we'd brought into our home? The spawn of Satan? The Dog of Damocles? Nay, this was without a doubt, "The Pup of the Baskervilles!". A tiny pup that threatened to tear our home apart & could eat her own weight in food twice a day! We we left cowering in terror as she wreaked her reign of terror upon us.
So why did we change her name from Emma to Lucky? Well for the first time I can reveal a photo taken immediately after the little monster had crawled under the sofa & chomped through a live mains cable & yet lived to tell the tail!
At that point we knew we had taken delivery of a Devil Dog!

Re: Show us your dog
Thankyou,
he's 42kg now but still thinks he's a cute little puppy..
But even big GSD's feel the cold.
This was yesterday at work, soon after this picture was taken he snuggled down and had a snooze. But he's not spoilt....... As you can see ...
