reverse light switch

manged to 'rig' up a reverse light switch over the weekend
a couple of pics below of the set up

sorry not the best pics and had to 'butcher' the rubber cover but it works

What's incredible for me is that it looks almost identical to what I did about 40 years ago. After about a year, I decided that I preferred having the dashboard mounted manual version, and I've stuck with that ever since. However, your arrangement looks nice and neat, and if it works for you, then excellent.

For anyone wishing to attempt this mod, I am aware that our resident inventor/manufacturer of great Minor improvements -- Declan Burns has a 10 page PDF of how he went about doing his version. I hope he won't mine me mentioning it -- he always is generous with his help.
