My van is going to another garage next week to sort out problems the car restorer did last year. I have have used him since it was restored to have a new fuel pump fitted and he is a 100 times better and is always so busy.
Upon wondering around the campsite and spotting the red double-fronted Minor with my young daughter I said,
"Look! a backwards forwards Minor". She was more concerned about where the Falcons were being kept. The next day, Saturday, when we did a full look around the Minors she wondered out loud whether there would be any more 'backwards forwards Minors'. It turned out she had just assumed that there was just another version called the 'Backwards Forwards Minor' since I had a name for it and it didn't look like something customised.
I had probably better clarify that the half-Minors used as trailers weren't standard either.
Also thank you so much MMOC for organising this we had a great time and it's great to finally be back.

Wasn't the Minor in your signature picture stolen? Did you ever get it back?
I had a good time at the show too, so I second the thanks to those within the MMOC that organise our Nationals each year.
Best wishes,
Mike.
1954 Series 2: 4 door: "Sally" -- Back on the ground with (slave) wheels and waiting to be resprayed......
1970 Triumph Herald 1200: "Hetty" -- Driven back from Llangollen in Wales (twice.....)
One thing that I noticed and that was mentioned by a few others that I spoke to, was that it seemed a bit 'quiet' this year....
People still finding their feet post-Covid??
Hopefully, if it is, this will wear off and numbers (attendance) will increase again in the coming years.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Sorry to hear that.
Did you replace it in the end?
Mike.
