Mobiel Auto Electrician Salisbury Wiltshire

Hi

Anyone got any recommendaions for Auto elecrians in Salisbury
I spent 7 hours today putting in a new electronic distrbutor into my 1970 Morris Minor and fettling to get it to fire and NO JOY

So thats it i have had enough, I have spark and just cant get it to work

Any contact details of people you have used woudl be great

Don't give up yet. I found you needed to alter the timing A LOT when fitting an electronic dizzy, I had to move the leads around 90 degrees on the cap to get enough adjustment to get the timing right, the dizzy needed to be moved anti clockwise to the extent the vacuum module hit the oil pressure switch hence the re-positioning of the leads. Give it a go, you should be able to get it running by moving the dizzy to touch the pressure switch then go from there.

We had to turn ours 180 degrees as was firing in the cap not the plug.Also the wires to the coil must be correct for neg or pis earth.Very important.Had to get an auto electrician to sort it Don't give up as Panky says.I guess it's all part of the fun.

As above I had to shift the timing a lot when swapping from points to an Electronic module
