long stork convex wing mirrors on traveller
where do i get long stork convex wing mirrors for my 1968 traveller. are they period ?? my wife is not sharp eyed and is used to using big modern mirrors and i thought these look good.... can someone point me to a supplier of good quality please.

Desmo made a wing mirror in the 1960s with a longer arm and convex glass. The Desmo mirror was a popular fitment on Morris Minors at the time. They are still available and were a better quality mirror than the Tex ones.

I was never keen on wing mirrors, so have fitted some MG Midget door mirrors BUT with the metal mounting plinths!!

There are quite a few Desmo's on eBay at present but whether they have convex glass fitted is another matter.
Though replacement convex glass can be bought and fitted yourself at home, I've done it with Elsie May's wing mirrors.
