Post by bubbles »

Hi guys and girls
Big ask , im after a police car light box for arry the moggie, also looking for a fair condition proper police with zip roof lining,
i,m aware ds engineering do make repo light boxes , but would like to see if any genuine ones are avaliable first.
Now this is the big ask , does any 1 have know where i could get good info on 60s police box ( tardis ) , you see my moggie was used
in a small village and the tardis was all they had serving several villages in the area, i would love to make a replica 1 , as prices for real 1s are very exspensive. thanks.

Try the Minor Police register. viewforum.php?f=73

As for roof boxes, they differed from constabulary to constabulary and many didn't have them at all. As regards the police box, the same is true. Some were boxes screwed to walls, other were full size (on the outside at least) tardis types and some were on cast iron posts.

The wikipedia entry is quite good on them.
