Horn push

Post by unclealec »

I am trying to re-establish a working horn push in the two-spoke steering wheel centre on my 1971 6cwt van.
I tried gingerly to lever the horn push out of the wheel centre. Guess what- it broke.
I was as gentle as I could be. What did I do wrong?
Also, how do I redress this catastrophe? Bite the bullet and order a new one from ESM? Or are there any secondand ones around?
