Hello,
The boot lock on my saloon won't lock. I can turn the key about 1/4 of a turn right, but I can't turn it left (which I'm assuming would lock it).
The latch opens and closes the boot just fine, but it's the lock that's an issue.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks in advance.
James

Re: Boot lock/latch
It should turn the same amount as the door key, 180 deg one direction to lock, 180 the other way to unlock. Vertical to Vertical.
You could just try a squirt of WD40, or take it out and give it a good clean.
You might find that one of the little pins is stuck.

Hmm, yes. It only seems to go one way.
I might try a bit of WD40 in the first instance... can't hurt!
