Cellulose Paint

Post by Tony »

I want some Birch Grey cellulose paint to repaint for my 1957 Morris 1000. Can anyone recommend a good supplier for cellulose paint. I live in Gloucestershire so ideally someone who could match the colour rather than using paint codes.
Also any idea what the paint code should be? I tried the link at the head of the forum but got a 404 error.
Thanks

H. Marcel Guest make paint near me in Manchester; I have been using them for nearly 40 years.

One of their execs onsite is a bigwig in the MMOC local scene.

Worth a phone call at least.

They might be a bit further away, but Ken and Lyn are worth trying. They deal in cellulose paint as a speciality. https://www.carrestorationpaints.co.uk

Thanks philipkearney and Mostly Minors. I have ordered some paint from Ken. He charges £14 to post it which seems very reasonaable as I ordered primer and thinners as well.

You could always try Middleton panels in Gloucester in the future. They are always good.
