I'd like to get some overmats to protect the carpet on my MM tourer, and I was wondering what you'd all recommend?
I see that there are two types - those from 50-53, and from 54 onwards, and I was wondering what the difference was? I used to have some coir 'coco-mats' for my old VW Beetle, and was wondering if there was anyone that did these for Morris Minors?
Many thanks
Rhodri

Re: Overmats
I have sets of these https://www.morrisminorspares.com/body- ... nt-p828854 in all my cars. Not sure how they would fit in a 52 car but should be fine. They're hard wearing and cover a good bit of the carpet.

Re: Overmats
We have the same as Philip in our 1959 Traveller. They came with the car and are still good after 12 years.

Re: Overmats
Be aware that rubber mats can cause damp to be retained under the carpet leading to rusting of the floor panels.
