Re: What?!!
You would expect that a dealer would at least have some knowledge around what the word concours means.
Still…fools and their money…

Re: What?!!
It's not a car , it's a museum exhibit.
Would you use it on the road at that price?

Re: What?!!
Not even a museum piece though is it? Too customised for that and, on the market, it isn't going to appeal to everybody regardless of the high price.
It has been advertised over and over again....

I don't think this is an original colour either.

Re: What?!!
That is what I meant by customised. The colour scheme, the seats and the many accessories/modifications...
The more you customise/personalise a car, the more you limit the appeal.
Maybe is was all done for an individual who then backed out or something similar? It surely wasn't restored speculatively?
I would say that most people looking for a Minor have a colour (or two) in mind, and a non-standard colour probably isn't one of them.

He he - the owner is certainly talking this one up big time! His hyperbole is off the scale!
God knows what's been done to the glovebox - and that steering wheel is ghastly!

Re: What?!!
There are allot of overpriced classics of all makes out there at present.
Allot are marketed with the word 'investment' included in the sales pitch, so I have to wonder if we are back to allot of greedy individuals hoping to make a killing, driving classics even further out of the price range of the ordinary man on the street.
Personally I am praying for a major price crash, so that all these 'investors and speculators' (a pet hate of mine) get financially incinerated.
Then perhaps they will finally leave classic cars to the real enthusiasts, which they are not.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: What?!!
Maybe we should keep quiet about the advantages of having a Vehicle of Historic Interest , road tax , clean air zone charges etc. etc.

Re: What?!!
Haha, yes. Tell everyone they’re awful cars, always break down, expensive to insure, are terrible to drive and that we can’t get parts
Re: What?!!
Wow, seems a little overpriced
I wonder if it'll still be worth that much when petrol is £5.00 a litre and your nearest filling station is a 30 mile round trip
