Scottish Welder?

Post by MacD »

Hi
Does anyone know of a welders near Central Scotland who can sort out my travellers rusty sills?
I’ve looked at previous posts and a garage in the borders no longer does the work.
Thanks

Hi MacD. I spent 3 months trying to find a welder who would deal with my rusty convertible sills. I found one 5 miles away in Whithorn last week. He doesn't advertise, and works on reccomendation. I can ask him. Where are you?

I can recommend a guy with a small garage down in Ayr if that’s any good? Bit of a waiting list to get into there though. There’s also a mini place in Glasgow that does welding on various classics (and moderns). A Minor pick up is among their current projects.
A bad day with my Volksie still beats a good day at work!

I know of an excellent welder in north-east Fife if you're willing to go that far. :D
