Hi All!
A few days ago, when I was driving, I noticed it had a rattling sound under the car, behind the driver's side. I ran into the bump to check that wheel, and the sound was clearer. On the highway, there's less of that sound, but there's still an echo. 04 new tires changed 8 months.
Has anyone experienced such a situation? Please advise!
Thank you!

Re: Rattling sound under the car
Sorry, don't understand that at all. Hitting bumps usually damages wheels and/or tyres.I ran into the bump to check that wheel
Look under the car for anything loose. Exhaust fittings are common sources on the the left - is your car RHD or LHD?
Re: Rattling sound under the car
have a close look at the rear shackle on the spring, there should be a good clearance between the shackle and the chassis ,as the spring softens over the years it also lenghtens and alows the shackle to hit the chassis. There will be a mark on the underside of the chassis rail if the spring is hitting it.,Grab the link arm between the rear shock absorber and the rear axle and give it a good pull about to see if there is any play in the joints. Try these for starters.
