Clutch problem

Hello and Happy New Year to everybody from Paul in Yuma, Arizona. Attached is a photo showing just a little less than 1/8" travel between the carbon ring and the thrust plate on the pressure plate of my 1952 Series MM, is this correct. It just seems a very small distance to me.

If you have a 1/8" you are on the right side of things.
The workshop manual Section E . Fig. E.1 shows the minimum clearance as 1/16" minimum.
