wiring

Post by jeff-d »

I am busy putting a new harness in or should i say a used one which was put in a minor then he realised that it was the wrong one so he took it out without it getting used my problem is i have just about completed the wiring except the wiring behind the dash because when he removed the harness he cut all the wires that go to the switches and speedo bulbs so they are not long enough, i need to put some tail ends on the wiring but not sure of the amps of the wires one is thinner than the other, cheers

Measure one strand of the wire and work out the cross sectional area and multiply that by the number of strands there are in the cable and from that you can cross reference the amperage.
