Ace Rimbellisher codes

Post by kiwimog »

I am trying to put together a list of the id codes for Ace Rimbellishers to make it easier to identify them as they appear on ebay or hanging in people's sheds.
The code is very small and appears on the back next to the valve hole. It is not to be confused with the Patent No. 656432 which appears on the front of all of them.

Please reply to this thread if you can provide any info for rimbellishers, Minor or otherwise. A full list may already exist, but I have not been able to track it down on the net. There may also be some sort of cross reference for Rimbellisher to Dunlop rims.

did you get anywhere with making a list of codes for Ace Rimbellishers?
I picked up a new 14" one recently with code 2053 and BMC part number ACH9374 but havent been able to identify its application.
