I'm insured with Peter James for unlimited mileage, agreed value at £6000, UK and EU breakdown cover and driving other cars for £97 per year. I was insured with Footman James for two years but their quote at the same time was £400! I'm a 26 year old school teacher and the car is garaged.

My 1963 Traveller has no mileage restriction, £5000 value, clean licence. Joint policy with an MGA. Minor element is £69.26 plus IPT @ 12%+= £78ish. I also pay another £9.38 for legal cover for the two cars. Insurer is RH Specialist Insurance with ERS. I am fairly ancient and live in Wiltshire. The MG is £120+tax, with a 3000 agreed mileage.

Appreciate this was 4 years ago but just wanted to say thanks for this recommendation. Picking up my first Moggy (Traveller) tomorrow and insurance was either too restrictive, too expensive or didn't offer sufficient cover. RH got me insured for £166 including legal and breakdown at home. Amazing, thank you!

You'll find the RH policies don't restrict mileage now and no extra cost. I noticed the change last year when I renewed
