front suspension pins/
i have noticed that pins are advertised for car or l.c.v. what is physical difference.? re john newton
Re: front suspension pins/
If you mean the swivel pins, the later 8 cwt lcv's had a thicker steering arm fitted to the pin, which involved having a larger hole to accommodate it.

You can fit the 8cwt swivel pins to the Minor car (as I have done) but the problem is in sourcing the larger steering arms as they are virtually unattainable other than S/H and then still a rarity though I note that ESM have NOS of the R/H steering arm Pt No: BTA594 but not the L/H.
Whilst looking for van steering arms I took note of the price of S/H non van steering arms

Fit what you can get, I don't think there is much to chose between the two options.

Only consider the 8cwt van swivel pin if you can obtain the steering arms otherwise it will be money spent unwisely.
