Anyone know where I can get a roof lining for my police car with the zip fitted please.

Re: Headlining
No. you buy a standard one and fit a zip. Sorry.
Re: Headlining
Is it easy to fit a zip then ?
Re: Headlining
That depends on how good you are with a sewing machine! We got our zip from a drapers shop (remember them?) and Angie fitted it. Any good upholsterer or dressmaker should be able to do the job, but might like a sample of the material on which to practice and get the correct machine settings. Newton Commercial can supply the material by the metre, particularly if you buy the headlining from them. Remember to measure where you want the zip before you dispose of the old lining.

Hello, I have an ex-police minor and always wondered about the zip. What was it for? Cheers!
Re: Headlining
To allow access to the bolts that held the roof box (if fitted) on and for access to the wires that powered the bulbs in the box and any other roof mounted equipment.
