A bit of help required please!A friend wants to put some saloon seats he's been offered into his van,but I've been told car seats need a modification, has anyone got anymore info?

It depends on what the seats are from, Minor seats should fit straight in, anything else will require an adapter base

Saloon seat will bolt straight into an LCV but the saloon seats have slightly longer back legs so the seat will be a bit more "upright" in an LCV than it ideally should be.
A saloon has a sloping rear floor for the rear seat passenders leg room and as such the rear legs of the front seats are longer to achieve the appropiate angle. A LCV has a flat floor thus the seat angle is wrong..

This could be overcome by packing the front mounts providing the extra hight is not a problem.
