I remember it from back in the day. Well done for saving it and getting it used. It will just need a through going over if not used for a while - particularly the rubber components (including tyres). A good tune up and fluid change should see it fine - enjoy.

Now's your chance, if it's your thing. Makes you wonder why the owner got fed up so quickly though!

That's what I wondered. My real target is a modified 2 door split screen, but they're in very short supply! I think distance will probably stop me bidding on this one.

i've found myself the owner of this car now and would be greatfull for any info on the history of it, i've found some bits and bobs from different places but would be great to find what copy of custom car magazine it was in? and i'm trying to restore it to the style of the period, has anyone got pictures of what the interior used to look like? as i just have lots of the bits which used to be inside.
many thanks
dave

its changed hands quite a bit in the last few years as far as i can work out, i've had it around a year now, bought not running but with MOT not sure how legitimate the mot was going by the condition of things when i got the car, I've done a hell of a lot to get it driveable and safe, runs sweet as a nut but does burn oil so an engine rebuild is on the cards for next winter
