Oil for Cab and Front dampers
Hi can u tell me what oil use for Cabuleter and front wheel dampers and how it fill - i have SAE 40w engine oil - Can i use SINGER machin oill for cab ?
Re: Oil for Cab and Front dampers
SAE 40 oil will be great in the dampers Sandun. Singer oil probably too thin for the carb - try a 50/50 mix of the two oils in the carb. You only need a teaspoon or two of oil in there!

Re: Oil for Cab and Front dampers
Thanks cab has some oil leval or how i think it is ok , i nevar did this - and how to fil for front dampers what is the oill leval ?
Re: Oil for Cab and Front dampers
Just a small air space at the top - but drain the horrible old oil out and refill with that SAE 40 ( NOT 10W40 I hope...).

Re: Oil for Cab and Front dampers
Remove the fill plug - and the valve assembly from the bottom of the damper. Make SURE you don't lose the spring etc from the valve - put a small under it when you remove the valve assembly.. Then bounce the car up and down to expel the old oil... Run some new oil through as a 'flush' before fitting the valve assembly - and filling up to near the top.
