hi looking for some information and recommendations for parts on a morris minor i,m repairing/buying ,
firstly can anyone age the vehicle for me ,the chassis no is - M15076 , TYPE MM8 ,engine no 15840
any information either technical or otherwise or where i can buy parts mainly engine parts , would be much appreciated

Assuming that it has a 918cc side valve engine, some of the engine/gearbox parts are interchangeable with the Series MM

Given the chassis number quoted above, I'd say it's a 1930 overhead cam engined Minor. The later pre-war Minors had a simpler, cheaper to manufacture, side-valve engine based on the overhead cam engine's block. That's a different engine to the later Morris 8 side-valve engine, that was basically a (better designed) copy of the Ford 8 Model Y.
