Try Footman James and quote your membership number, they run the club scheme.

There are lots of specialist insurers out there, I use RH Specialists who have always been very reasonable for me - but I'm not 17
Is you Morris a two or four door model, apparently it makes quite a difference in premiums for some companies

There was another young member a short while ago looking to buy a Minor and the insurance companies seemed to think a two door was a sporty coupe :o A four door was a lot cheaper to insure even though everything else was exactly the same. Shop around and hopefully you'll find someone with a bit of sense.

Here's the thread

Someone got a fantastic deal from Swinton the other day, but apparently the club does a special scheme through Footman James for young drivers.

It's certainly worth shopping around but I think for young drivers, the scheme the club have arranged through Footman James will be hard to beat on price.
