Transport for getting your new morris!
Having just arranged for my morris to be delivered from where I bought it from, I used
www.shiply.com
And found it to be so so so useful and got a great price and such an efficient delivery!
Worth a try if any is trying to think of the best place to go, I know I was.
You set up your quote with your car details, wether it starts and the journey details and wait for the quotes to roll in, it's worth waiting for quite a few because my journey went down from £145 to £96 which is amazing considering the distance.
Hope this helps someone!

It's different depending upon which company give you a quote, you can message them to ask before accepted a quote.

Always check - a recent thread here reports how the delivery was made on a dolly, rear wheels still on the road - with the car left in gear - until the engine blew up with the ridiculous revs........

Re: Transport for getting your new morris!
Yes had a car picked up from work (arranged by the customer) it was a van and trailer. The car was a non runner but the trailer had no winch and the driver wanted us to push the car up the ramps, but the trailer was realy high off the ground and the ramps were made of 1" box section and steep the car had a low slung bumper.
You can imagine the rest.

Shipley is a broker service and most of the time it works quite well. I have read about problems with them though so do your research before booking!

Would be good to know the distance it was transported for your £96.Shiply use a feedback score system so you can read comments from others that have used the service before you commit.

Re: Transport for getting your new morris!
Well the AA says thats around 90 miles so the price you paid was about right for the non-robbing transporters that just charge you one way. There are those that charge for both.
