FJ Insurance

Post by C.J. »

Any of you young whippersnappers had a renewal quote since the take over last month?
Gone up quite considerably like my daughters has? :x

Whatever you do, don't just take the quote at face value....RING THEM UP and complain like I did.
They reduced it by £100, still too high, but better than the invitation letter was stating.

Failing all that ^^^^, who've you found that's more competitive?

Cheers.

Yes, but I'm absolutely sick to the very back teeth of reading threads on this nasty subject here there and everywhere.
I was merely asking the question as to if...or not as the case may be....if youngsters in here had had there premiums hiked this year since last months take over.

I've not heard anything about price hikes since the takeover but I shall keep my eyes and ears open, be interesting to know if this is the case.

Well that's it now then.
just rung to get a new quote as daughter is due home from uni, and the utter *******s won't quote me anymore because the car now HAS to be kept in a secure garage overnight.

I just knew when they were taken over by towergate that this was all gong to end in tears, and it has, especially when i tell said daughter that she can no longer drive it!! :o  :x

Anyone want to buy a moggy then, and even advertising that in here is a no no now too!!! :x

Advertising a car for sale is certainly not a "no no", not sure where you got that idea. Try contacting Dave at FJ and see if he can assist (go via the MMOC Office at Derby if necessary). The normal way to deal with a non-garaged car is a small loading on the premium.

Well not for these it wasn't.
Despite my pleadings as to just how secure it really is, they simply said "NO", even though it was quite acceptable last year.

They've lost my business now anyway.

As for advertising, I'm saying no more on THAT subject as I've already been warned.

Just been refused a quote due to not being an mmoc member for 12 months, though no mention of any problem with it being kept on the driveway
