I bought some 'hammerite' paint off eBay, £34.99 including free p&p (Thomas Howse)for 5 litres in black for painting the underside of my Moggy, this is really good stuff, goes on easy and has a really good hammered finish but not as blatant as the real Hammerite paint- in my view this is a better finish, I'm using it on the running gear at the moment and well pleased with the results- it arrived less than 2 days after ordering as well.
You would only need 2.5 litres to give the underside 2-3 nice thick coats, better than using under seal, and it looks good too.
