hi I've got a whole marina 1300 engine etc. etc. its only done 53 thousand miles from new so its like new I tried selling it on eBay but nobody was interested it runs and drive sweet im obviously doing a full organ and limb transplant in to my moggy and am going to mod the engine just want to know what other people have done Im going to bore it out and supercharge it sucking through a Webber and nitros it wondering on peoples experience with either of these or both its going to be a long project due to money and work constrictions but it will be done as quick as possible and pics and up dates will be posted much appreciated George[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]

I wouldn't use a weber - an SU is a better bet. This won't be a cheap conversion - speak to others who have done it before and wished they hadn't. There are cheaper/better ways to go faster.

Hi I just really wanted a second opinion on this see if any one had done this and what there out come was I'm a vehicle technician by trade so I'm I would say very capable of any mechanical work and modifyin/making parts but if people are saying its not gunna be worth it a few other options are still in the bag vauxhall omega v6 manual sitting in my garage gathering dust

Check out posts by 2fry - he built a real tasty traveller with charger, but it proved a bit troublesome so he replaced it with a standard 1275.

You are mixing up all the various ways of improving the power...... Weber is no use - as above use a large SU. S/charge it if you wish - but it won't last long, and adding 'Nitrous Oxide' will bring that time down to seconds. It will be better to go your big-engine route......
