South Cerney

Post by AndrewSkinner »

Anybody make it to South Cerney this weekend?

This was me all packed up and ready to go! The Honda C90 was so that I could bomb it back home to pick up the Plymouth Barracuda I was helping to show.

The good old trusty Morris did so well again with all that gear plus 4 up, luggage, shopping, fridge, gas bottle etc trundling along quite happily at 55mph. These 948's never cease to amaze me.

A superb outfit and nice to hear the smaller engines can still slog it along. :)

Hi Andrew

I went on the Saturday in my Yukon Grey Traveller - also under 948 power - great show - I love the fact that you see so much of the steam stuff in action all day long.

Ahhh that show... I have been once or twice. Steam rallies are brilliant!

My mum grew up in Bagendon and my uncle still lives there.
