spark plugs

my morris has a midget engine in it and the sparkplugs are sooting up regular.do you think i should replace the plugs for hotter ones any suggestions please thanks

I would look at the mixture first ,especially if they soot up after a decent run .do a search and you will find plenty on here

Champion N9Y are suitable for the whole of the standard A series range. The problem will be rich mixture - is fuel economy good??? Or - oil burning.......
