Anyone wanting a bash up the newly resurfaced Rest & Be Thankful hill climb in Argyll should get signed up for the RSAC 3 Lochs Classic Run on 18th August. Be quick - the entry numbers are strictly limited........... :lol:

If visiting Glasgow - be sure to spend a day in the new 'Riverside' Transport Museum - where besides far too many Steam Locomotives (!) there are many cars shown in a 'representation' of the R & B Thankful - and a very good video of the track before this recent resurfacing - to allow the road to be used as an emergency route if/when the main road is blocked by the not infrequent rock falls in the area....... :roll:
