Morning All...

Any chance anyone could recommend someone to service my wifes 69 traveller... we're in South East London.

Thanks in advance.

All the best

Have a go yourself they are simple :) with the price garages charge you would save money and gain expertise for next time

Hello...
Thanks for the replies... I'm in Charlton SE7 so not far from Poplar... I was always planning to service it myself but haven't got round to it...

I think you're right though I should do it myself... I had to do the head gasket when we first bought her... I've always driven old VWs and can work on them with my eyes closed so I'm confident do it... I guess I'm just getting to be an old dog not really wanting (too lazy!!) to learn a new trick and keep putting it off!!

Thanks again for the replies very much appreciated... what's the best book/thing to read about servicing?!!

Kind regards

Chris

you could service it in the time it would take you to take it to and fetch it from a garage

I'm in South East London (Woolwich) and would be happy to help out.
Those round tuits can be hard to find but it's a straight forwards job.
I hope all your spanners aren't metric!
