Ex Army Morris Traveller

Post by YWB548G »

I've recently bought what a 1971 Traveller which was has the ex army plate on the bulkhead. The owner I bought it from thought it had originally been left hand drive and exported to Germany before being returned to the UK in 1977 hence the reason it is an 'R' reg. The military registration number on the plate is 35-FH-08. I would like to learn more of it's history and have attempted to contact the Ex Government Minors register but all my emails have been undeliverable. Does anyone have an alternative email address? Thanks in advance..

sorry for delay I have 35 FH 35 listed and that is a ex-BAOR Traveller this is the only one in that batch that I know survives.

I would calculate from this your chassis number to be MAW5L/1239321
is?

Either way can you kindly e mail details RussLCV@gmail.com I would love to see some pics too. These vehicles had many different features I can explain more when I see pictures.
